Leading Quick-Serve Restaurant Brand Transforms Digital Training
Training Application Boosts Employee Experience
A fast-growing U.S. quick-service restaurant brand revered for its efficiency sought a technology solution to improve its in-store staff training experience. The legacy system suffered from low adoption rates, usability challenges and a strained internal brand perception. Envisioning a revamped training experience, the company aimed for an application featuring fully searchable text, intuitive design and expandability to support future initiatives such as continuing education, product announcements and market tests to pilot new products.
Having invested nearly two years in developing a vision for a new learning experience, the company sought the right partner to develop its application to integrate seamlessly with its existing technology infrastructure. TekStream was that partner.

Ensure a consistent and positive user experience across all device types (desktop, laptop or mobile app) and in shared environments.
Build in expandability and adaptability to support future initiatives such as compliance, gamification and group training modes.
Solution Provided
TekStream and the client concepted a new, custom-built Restaurant Learning Experience application to transform staff training. A full platform API, web-based UI design and native app experience were created for the project, with TekStream leading the platform and native architecture, design and development of the project. The company’s in-house brand team designed the UI and worked with TekStream to create seamless workflows. Integrating the APIs with the existing enterprise-wide authentication and authorization platform allowed for direct tie-ins with existing permissions and data models.
